Saipan Computer Services gave back to its customers again through a raffle drawing of prizes worth thousands of dollars last Tuesday, with Edgar Johnson taking home the grand prize, a Microsoft Surface Pro bundle with a Pyle Pro Home Theatre WiFi projector and Bose Revolve Bluetooth speaker set.

According to SCS business development director Jerry Tiu, the customers are responsible for keeping SCS alive and successfully for over 30 years so it is only fair that they are shown appreciation at the end of each year.

“Every year we just want to say thank you to our customers because they have sustained us,” he said.

This is the eighth year that SCS has hosted a customer appreciation raffle. They started back in 2010 and the prizes keep only getting grander.

“We conclude our eighth year and are looking forward to a good one,” said Tiu.

For 2017, the raffle prizes that were given away revolved around a “pro” theme.

The major prizes that were distributed last Tuesday included a complete Pyle Pro Home Theater, a MacBook Pro, a Go-Pro Hero Session, an iPad pro, a PS4 Pro, a complete HP Pro-desk, and more.

Over 20 lucky SCS customers that purchased items or availed of SCS’ services from November up to Dec. 30 and spent $25 or more took home one or more of the 25 prizes hand-picked by the SCS staff.

The grand prize winner was Johnson, while the first place winner in the major prize category was Richard Brooks, who took home an Apple 13” MacBook Pro.

Andrew Aninon placed second in the major prize category, earning him a complete HP Pro-Desk 400 mini-computer. Vincent Torres III placed third in the major prize category, earning him an Apple iPad Pro.

The fourth place winner was Ruel Villacrusis who took home a brand new Sony Destiny2 PS4 Pro.

The fifth place winner was Darlene Cabrera and she was awarded a Go-Pro Hero session camera.

Sixth place major winner Yoo Duke J. took home a Beats by Dr. Dre Solo3 WiFi headphone.

The seventh major prize winner was Josh Slater and he was awarded a Lenovo Yoga Tab3 tablet.

The eighth major prize winner was Frances T. Salas and she was given a Fitbit Flex2 Fitness Wristband.

The eight minor prizes were $30 worth of SCS or Ideal Signs services. The winners were Joey Paranada, Hazel Dela Santa, Luzviminda Francisco, Maria Cristina Basan, Daniel Mensah, James Fleming, Dylan Sablan, and Tixana Torres.

The eight consolation prizes were an SCS umbrella and a pair of mugs. Winners of the consolation prizes were Caroll Thongyai, Jack Angelo, Stephen Carino, Ruel Villacrusis, Rudelia Renojo, Antonio Kikiro, and James Fleming.

All winners have been contacted about their prizes.
