UOG professor publishes American-style cat tanka book

Dr. Yukiko Inoue-Smith, a professor of Educational Psychology and Research at the University of Guam School of Education, announces the release of her new book, Do Cats Dream, to be published by David Publishing on the day of her cats’ birthday, Feb. 23, 2018. The book, written in a classic Japanese poetry form called tanka.
“My husband and I love cats very much,” said Inoue-Smith, “and so, I realize that it is time for me to tell the full story of our two cats, Goblin and Pumpkin Junior (P. J.), so that people can understand why we are so attached to these cats and deeply care about them.”
Inoue-Smith is a professor of education at the University of Guam, where she teaches educational psychology. Books in the specialized field include Cases on Blended and Online Learning Technologies and Online Education for Lifelong Learning. Tanka books recently published include: Was It All A Dream?, Cat Tanka, Vol. 1, and Cat Tanka, Vol. 2: The Story of Goblin and Pumpkin Junior. (PR)
