For those seeking a discreet location that feels like home, the new Palms Pacific Resort is now open to satisfy those needs.

Palms Pacific Resort held its grand opening ceremony last Friday at its Chalan Kiya location to introduce the renovations and new touches made on the property.

The Palms Pacific Resort is conveniently hidden away from busy streets, far from establishments, and offers condo-style units.

According to Palms Pacific Resort president Min Seo Kwon, the goal is to give guests a cozy place to stay that represents her family-oriented background.

Kwon said the suites are designed to accommodate families and provide them with a temporary home ideal for staycations.

According to Gov. Ralph DLG Torres, more units to accommodate guest are always welcome and Palms Pacific Resort is unique compared to all the others around Saipan.

Right off the bat, he noticed that the area is quiet and doesn’t overlook the beaches, like what all the other resorts aim to do.

Marianas Visitors Authority managing director Chris Concepcion also welcomed the new resort, saying this will ultimately redound to the good of Saipan’s tourism industry.

Concepcion said that if there are more hotel rooms for occupancy, Saipan could accommodate more tourists.

Concepcion is excited for the opportunity to work with the newly established resort.

Palms Pacific Resort offers an array of activities such as tennis, swimming, an instructional diving pool, and more. It will be working with local tour agencies.

The Palms Pacific Resort is the first hotel investment of the Palms Pacific Corp.
