Picnic for veterans and families

Close to 100 veterans, active service members, their families and community members were treated to a special picnic on Saturday by Imperial Pacific International through its Corporate Social Responsibility arm and the CNMI Veteran’s Affairs Office.

The picnic was held in acknowledgement of the veterans’ sacrifices and contributions.

The picnic was held at Micro Beach on Saturday as part of the CNMI’s Veteran’s Day celebration.

This is the second time that IPI has hosted a picnic to NMI veterans and service members.

Last Saturday’s event was also participated by volunteers and cadets from Marianas High School and Saipan Southern High School

There were also games for families and children of veterans that included children’s basketball and art café. (PR)
