My teacher – Mary Elchico

Mary Elchico

Every student has a favorite teacher that they look up to while they are attending school. Mrs. Mary Elchico is my favorite teacher and the one that I admire.

Mrs. Elchico is gritty and helpful. She is always willing to help students and her co-workers in whatever they need. She always tries to make learning fun and exciting every time she teaches.

I find her always encouraging us students to grow and develop our skills in the different subjects that we need to succeed in. She is like our second mom because she is always there for us when we’re happy, sad, or angry or just simply need someone to talk to.

This school year is her second year of teaching 5th grade at William S. Reyes Elementary School.

She enjoys teaching, singing, and playing with her dogs. Her favorite hobby is playing volleyball and she also likes to travel to new places. This school year (2017-2018), she is our Parents-Teachers-Students Association president.

I feel that students who have Mrs. Elchico as a teacher are going to be truly blessed to have her since they would learn a lot of skills. She is one of a kind.
