Clarification

According to a Saipan Tribune article, plaintiff’s attorney Matthew Gregory alleged that “unreasonable delay in shipping the containers was not due to bad weather but rather plaintiffs. It was to ensure full barges to maximize Saipan Shipping’s profits to the detriment of plaintiffs.” This matter has been settled but Saipan Shipping wishes to clarify that as a business it has an interest in profits but it is also very aware of the responsibilities it assumes when it commits to perform a service. This service matters and that the company performs this service well is important as well. We have served the island of Rota to the best of our ability over many decades, providing service at a loss in many cases, all to ensure that this community is served and we will continue to do so.
