CNMI Scholarship deadline for NMC’s PLA program extended to Sept 8
The CNMI Scholarship Office has announced that it has extended the deadline to submit scholarship applications specifically for the Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) program to Friday, Sept. 8, 2017.
Students who would like to apply for financial aid for NMC’s PLA program can submit a scholarship application to the CNMI Scholarship Office in Capitol Hill no later than Sept. 8, 2017.
The Prior Learning Assessment Program awards college credit for demonstrable, college-level knowledge gained through employment training programs, military services, and other settings outside the typical academic environment.
The Prior Learning Assessment Program can help working and retired professionals enhance their resumes with college credit, earn college credit towards a degree of their choice, and get ahead in or re-enter the workforce. The typical student enrolling in this program is generally 25 years or older with at least five years of work experience and meets the general admission requirements of the college.
