Soroptimist Int’l installs new officers

The local chapter of Soroptimist International has elected a new set of club officers for 2017 to 2018, led by Marilyn Marron as president for 2018.
The new club officers were installed and inducted last Thursday at the Hyatt Regency Saipan. The new officers are Maureen Sebangiol, who is president for 2017; Bobbi Grizzard, secretary; Pam Brown-Blackburn, Ways & Means chair; Tania David, treasurer-elect; Marron, president-elect; and Emma Perez, treasurer
Soroptimist International is a 96-year-old organization whose primary mission and goal is: Improving the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment.”
According to Sebangiol, the club’s CNMI chapter will be the host to a district meeting at the end of October, with members of sister clubs coming from California, Hawaii, and Guam joining CNMI members on Saipan. (PR)
