PM sessions for leadership seminars
The Saipan Chamber of Commerce and Island Training Solutions are opening an afternoon session for its “Supervisory Leadership” seminars.
The afternoon sessions will be held today, Aug. 17, from 1:30pm to 4:30pm, for Part 1 and Sept. 21, from 1:30pm to 4:30pm, for Part 2.
The two-part training seminar teaches supervisors and team leaders the essential skills to lead others in the workplace. Effective supervisors can make the difference between the success or failure of a company. Training your supervisors allows you to instill your company mission and values in your leaders, who pass them on to the frontline workers. Take advantage of this opportunity to train your new supervisors and sharpen the skills of your experienced ones.
During Part 1 of this course, participants will learn how to communicate effectively, embrace their new role and assert leadership, and identify and manage problems using a step-by-step process. In Part 2, participants will learn how to amplify strengths in each team member to maximize productivity and success, how to empower and motivate others, and how to manage diversity in the workplace.
The Supervisory Leadership training seminar will take place at the Saipan Chamber of Commerce conference room on the third floor of Marianas Business Plaza, Suite 315. Part 1 is set for today, Aug. 17, 2017, and Part 2 is set for Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017. Registration fee for each course is $50 per person for Chamber members and $55 per person for non-members. Prepay for both courses and receive a $10 discount, $90 (member fee) or $100 (non-member fee)!
