SCS Open House tonight
Saipan Community School is hosting its annual Open House and Parent Orientation Night tonight, Aug. 17, starting at 6pm. Parents and students are encouraged to attend as well as members of the community interested in learning more about the school.
The Open House will include a brief introduction to the SCS teachers, staff, and administration. Students and parents should meet in the church at 6pm for a general assembly before proceeding to individual classrooms. Teachers will be available in their classrooms to discuss goals for the school year, curriculum, and co-curricular activities such as MathCourt, STEM Fair, National Junior Forensic League, Spelling Bee, Primary Grade Forensic Competition, and Mock Trial, as well as athletic events.
SCS is a private Christian school that was established in 1976 as the first Protestant school on the island. SCS offers a U.S. curriculum taught in English and has been consistently recognized over the years for developing academic excellence and character in a family friendly atmosphere.
