Robbery in Garapan

Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help for a robbery incident in Garapan.

On Thursday night, Aug. 10, 2017, at about 10:28pm, police met with the victim, a 27-year-old Asian female. Police learned the victim was walking on the sidewalk near RJ Tobacco, Wine and Liquor Store along Beach Road, Garapan. The suspect approached the victim from behind, grabbed her purse from her shoulder, and ran toward the beach.

The victim chased the suspect and lost sight of the suspect in the dark. The items stolen include a green small purse containing a gold-colored iPhone, and $400. The victim was not injured.

The suspect is described as a male in his late 20s, about 5’8” to 5’10” tall, skinny, and wearing a pair of brown/khaki shorts, orange-sleeved shirt, a pair of slippers, and a green hat.
