Yamaha certifies two Joeten Motors technicians

Joeten Motor Co. said yesterday that two of its technicians, Hubert Smith Agulto and Allen Roy B. Aldan, have successfully completed the Yamaha Comprehensive Marine Technical Outboard training.

Alongside other Yamaha technicians from around the world, Agulto and Aldan passed the Yamaha basic outboard certification and bronze level certification test. The training was held at Yamaha’s state-of-the-art facilities in Shizuoka, Japan.

The Yamaha certification covers all aspects of Yamaha outboard service including maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, diagnostics, fuel systems, and electrical systems. Agulto found the training to be a great experience.

“I was able to learn more about Yamaha outboard motors, motorcycles, generators, and engines, including how each part functions and what tools will help me get the job done,” Agulto said.

Aldan, for his part, found the training to be a blast because they were given the opportunity to apply hands-on what they learned throughout the training.

“We were taught how to work professionally, shown how each machine works inside and out, and instructed on what tools are needed for a particular job,” he said

Both technicians commented that no matter how good a mechanic you are, proper training through the dealership and the manufacturer is essential.

Joeten Motors continues to strive to provide customers with excellence service by sending its technicians to exclusive manufacturer training and recognizing any accomplishments received as a result of such training. (PR)
