It was such a privilege to ride in this year’s Liberation Day parade with Man’amko King Jesus Basa Pangelinan. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all individuals and companies who supported the fundraising of the 2017 Man’amko Royal Court. The generosity of those who bought raffle tickets is very touching, and altogether, the community support we received raised over $7,000 for the Saipan Senior Advisory Council.
Many people may not know that the services of the CNMI Office of Aging are not all paid for by the federal government. While many of our programs for the man’amko are, some of our activities are supported by local funding or the Saipan Senior Advisory Council, which is comprised of man’amko, with officers voted by the man’amko. Each year we receive many generous monetary or in-kind contributions/donations from our community for services, and we thank you. Most especially, we thank all those who take the time to visit us at the Office on Aging to see what services are available to our man’amko.
