TV Tokyo visited the Marianas this month for a production shoot anticipated to bring the islands nearly $1 million worth of ad exposure.
TV Tokyo was in the Marianas on June 20-26, 2017, to film a special episode that will air on July 29, 2017, reaching an estimated 1.2 million households and targeting viewers in their 20s to 60s who are interested in overseas travel.
“TV Tokyo is one of the major Tokyo television stations with a huge viewership,” said MVA marketing manager Bruce Bateman. “The MVA worked diligently to negotiate this special program about the Marianas, and it will be an important promotional tool for us to reach 1.2 million viewers with the message that, ‘The beautiful Marianas are here with new and exciting things to do and your dream vacation is still only three hours away.’”
