The 2nd Annual MYPros Young Professionals Week is starting off with the proclamation signing by Gov. Ralph DLG Torres at Bridge Capital on Monday, June 26.

This will be followed by a week’s worth of interesting and informative activities such as “Adulting 101: Personal Finance Mixer” at Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan, Bank of Guam’s “Small Business Seminar” at Saipan World Resort, and MYPros “Small Business Happy Hour with Mentors and MYPros” at Bubba Gump Shrimp.

Other actives include a MYPros dunking booth fundraiser event at the 2017 Liberation Day festival on June 30 and concluding with the 2nd White Sand Gala at the Surf Club on July 1.

“This isn’t just a week of fun. We have some really amazing seminars planned that can benefit the young entrepreneurs of our community to help them thrive in their business and in life,” said Matt Guerrero, president of MYPros.

“Yes, we really wanted to plan a week’s worth of activities that are both fun as well as inspirational to the young professionals of the CNMI,” said Nola Hix, vice president and Events Committee chair.

The White Sand Gala event will feature an award ceremony, music, canapés and beverages on the beach at Surf Club. Raffles and silent auctions will also be part of the fun. All guests are encouraged to come dressed to impress in white.

Winners of the MYPros Spotlight Award, Volunteer of the Year, and Young Professional of the Year awards will also be announced. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased at any event during Young Professionals Week and from events committee members.

Except for the Gala event, all other Young Professionals Week events are free and open to the community.
