Pau Pau Triangle Swim kicks off open water series
Dolphin Club Saipan invites swimmers to join the first swim of the Summer Fun Open Water Series. The Pau Pau Triangle swim, happening tomorrow, June 10, at 7am at Pau Pau Beach, will have three courses to choose from: 3.5 kilometer, 1.5 kilometer, or a 50-meter course for new swimmers. Registration starts at 6am.
The Summer Fun Open Water Series is open to swimmers of all ages. Parental or swim team coach approval is required for minors. All swims are untimed and swim aids (fins, etc.) are welcome. Marker buoys and kayaks will be used to guide swimmers.
Registration is $20 for non-Dolphin Club Saipan members (includes cap) and $5 for participants in 500 Sails/Dolphin Club Saipan’s free swim classes. Series swims are free to lifeguards with proof of certification or approval prior to registration. Payment is due upon arrival by cash or check payable to 500 Sails. Registration fees help support Dolphin Club Saipan swim events and programs, including free Adult Learn-to-Swim and Family Swim classes.
