Jesus Pangelinan and Rafaela D. Perry are the 2017 Man’amko King and Queen.
The Office on Aging staged the Man’amko King and Queen Coronation Ball last Wednesday at the Man’amko Center, with Man’amko Royal Prince Vicente Fitial and Man’amko Royal Princess Christiana Michael joining the 2017 Man’amko Royal Royal Court.
The court also consisted of four princesses and two princes. The princesses were Meryalen Conrad, Rosalia Sablan, Sitae Terry, and Jasminda Guaio, while the princes were Nick Klewei and Emmanuel Mikel.
According to man’amko president Rita Reyes, proceeds raised from the coronation ball will go into funding the needs and wants of the congregates.
She said tabulation of the money took a week to finalize but the final amount raised from the fundraiser was $7,000.
The Man’amko King and Queen Coronation Ball has been a long tradition for the center, according to Aging director Walter Manglona. It is not just to raise funds but to also honor the man’amko. (Kimberly A. Bautista)
