Saipan Computer Services, together with NikeGolf, has announced that they are donating over $10,000 in in-kind contributions to the upcoming Governor’s Tournament of Champions.

“It is always a pleasure and an honor to be part of the Governor’s Tournament of Champions which supports projects enhancing tourist areas in the CNMI,” said Jerry Tiu, Business Development director of Saipan Computer Services. “We look forward to another successful tournament and wish all players good luck.”

“Year after year Saipan Computer Services and NikeGolf continue to support the Tournament of Champions with their generous contributions,” said Ben Babauta, tournament director. “We are beyond thankful for their commitment to the tournament and their valued partnership through so many years.”

The 22nd Governor’s Tournament of Champions will be played at the Laolao Bay Golf & Resort’s east and west courses on May 27 and 28. Hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of prizes will be at stake in the two-day tournament, including hole-in-one prizes like a brand new 2017 Honda Civic hatchback donated by Joeten Motors, a brand new 2017 Hyundai Grand Santa Fe donated by Triple J Motors, a brand new 2017 Limited Edition 50th Anniversary Toyota Corolla donated by Atkins Kroll Toyota, a $10,000 hole-in-one prize offered by Pacifica Insurance, a $5,000 hole-in-one cash prize offered by McDonald’s of Saipan, and one year of free golf donated by Laolao Bay Golf and Resort.

Since its inception, TOC has turned over more than $800,000 to the Saipan Beautification Fund, which has gone directly to improvements like the tree-lined traffic medians that stretch from Garapan to the former Palm Resort Saipan, as well as the revitalization of the Garapan special district. In addition, the Governor’s TOC also contributed funds for the Paseo de Marianas, the lighting of the Saipan Beach Pathway, and the beautification of the Port to Park pathway.
