Hard Rock Café branches, which are hosting the World Burger Tour all over the world, has landed here on Saipan.
For those not in the know, the idea behind the World Burger Tour actually arose from the Hard Rock Cafe branches in Guam and on Saipan.
“In 2008, we created the Chamorro Burger to cater to the many tourists, for them to catch the local taste. We used…Tinian chili pepper and other ingredients that are available on the island. It was a big hit for both locals and tourists, that’s why the Chamorro Burger is a regular on our menu here and in Guam,” said Hard Rock Café executive chef Kotwal Meharwan Singh.

The corporate office of Hard Rock Café later decided to follow suit and implemented the idea of concocting local burgers in all branches. The idea inspired the chefs to create their burger based on their location, ingredients, spices, and customers. That gave birth to the World Burger Tour.
“Now, even if you are in just one place, you will be able to taste different countries by just having our burgers,” Singh added.
On Saipan, four burgers are available for sampling. The Korea Kimchi Burger was inspired by Seoul. It is a burger patty topped with kimchi, bulgogi sauce, fresh tomato, and spicy mayo. The English Breakfast Burger was inspired by England. It is topped with breakfast sausage, sliced ham, arugula, Portobello mushroom, fresh tomato, and fresh-cracked egg. The Tennessee BBQ Burger was inspired by Memphis. It is a certified Angus beef patty seasoned with Memphis dry rub and topped with pickle slices, Memphis slaw, pulled pork, tangy barbecue sauce, crispy onions, and cheddar cheese. The Jamaica Jerk Burger, inspired by Montago Bay, is a smooth and spicy fusion of mango cream cheese and jerk mayo, banana peppers, and arugula.
Get these burgers within 15 minutes from ordering and the meat is best paired with fries and sauce.
“We chose burgers instead of other dishes that you will find in other countries because Hard Rock Café is known for our burgers. We go for quality instead of quantity. We wanted to create something more with what we are popularly known for,” Singh said.
Celebrate the taste of the world by experiencing the World Burger Tour at Hard Rock Café, which is happening until June 25, 2017.
