Philippine president receives delegates to 7th ACGTDT tour

Aquino III recently received the Saipan and Guam delegates of the 7th North American Ambassadors, Consuls General and Tourism Directors Tour following the launching of the “It’s More Fun in the Philippines” campaign.

In a courtesy call at the Rizal Hall of the Malacañang Palace on July 13, 2012, Aquino met with the ACGTDT delegates from the United States of America and Canada. Also in attendance were Tourism Secretary Ramon Jimenez Jr. and Philippine Ambassador to the U.S. Jose Cuisia.

The Department of Foreign Affairs, the Department of Tourism, the Department of Trade and Industry, and the Philippine Embassies and Consulates General in the U.S. and Canada opened the 7th North American Ambassadors, Consuls General and Tourism Directors Tour on July 11, 2012, with the “It’s More Fun in the Philippines” Program.

The Saipan delegation was handled by Century Travel Agency in cooperation with the Philippine Consulate General on Saipan and Rajah Tours, Inc., the designated program ground handler in Manila.

The ACGTDT event ended on July 14.
