Former Aqua Resort Club executive chef Hubert Siegfried Friedle remains missing as of yesterday, according to police spokesman Jason Tarkong.

Tarkong said initial police investigation indicated no possible foul play behind Friedle’s disappearance.

Tarkong said they obtained information that Friedle, 55, is likely suffering from depression.

He said he was not aware as of yesterday whether the Department of Public Safety has conducted a search operation.

The department, however, is asking the community’s assistance to report any sighting of Friedle.

Police said that Friedle was last seen on Monday at 6pm at a residence in San Antonio. He was wearing a white polo shirt and dark blue short pants. He has sores on both feet and also on his hands.

Friedle’s Honda Civic was found parked the next day, Tuesday, before lunch hour at Pakpak Beach.

The victim’s friend picked up the car, which was locked, and drove it home. His personal items, including a watch and wallet, were left inside the car.

Saipan Tribune learned that Friedle left a note at his house that contained instructions to retrieve the car from Pakpak Beach.

Friedle also used to work at 360 Restaurant. He lately became jobless.
