Imperial Pacific Resort will offer international gaming experience

More than 300 gaming tables and machines spread out in a casino floor area of 140,000 square meters would greet the first visitors of Imperial Pacific Resort, once it gets the green light to open its doors to the public.

Imperial Pacific International (CNMI) LLC Marketing and Public Affairs director David Largent, during Wednesday’s Saipan Chamber of Commerce monthly meeting at the Kanoa Resort’s Seaside Hall, said they would make an announcement of the casino’s opening once they have secured all necessary clearance certificates. He also invited SCC officials and members for a tour of the casino.

The casino would feature 48 baccarat tables where most of which are for their VIP clients. The VIP tables are currently part of the mass gaming floor as they are trying to finish the construction of the second phase, which will have a separate area for their high rollers.

Casino Table Games director Scott Morrow said that the soon-to-be-opened gaming floor would feature two of the world’s most popular casino card games—Baccarat, Blackjack, and Texas Hold ‘Em Poker—and areas reserved for VIPs, which is IPI’s core target market.

Baccarat alone will have 48 tables, including two VIP salons with the option of adding 12 more VIP tables in the future. Their VIP rooms come complete with their own casino cage where one can make all of their transactions without leaving the room.

Four baccarat tables, a pit stand, card cabinets, and an exclusive cage are some of the features that can be found inside the VIP rooms, which is also reserved for Imperial VIP Club members.

“The exclusive cage makes it easy for our VIP guests to make the transactions with no more trips outside the room. I’m very excited about this. There are also situations in VIP areas were guests could either play by themselves or within small groups that gives them more elbow room,” said Morrow.

He added the membership club is important to the business since they could easily get in touch with their clients, guests, and players. “To let them know of our big offerings and events that are coming up. It gives us the opportunity to invite them to avail of our special offerings.”

Morrow said Blackjack and Texas Hold ‘Em, a variation of the poker card game, are also two of the popular games in the mainland with the latter also gaining a huge following in Asia.

Imperial Pacific Resort will have six Blackjack tables while two for live Texas Hold ‘Em games with the casino floor having the ability to expand it to eight tables if there would be more players.

They also have two roulettes, eight units of the sic bo or tai sai dice game, poker derivative carnival games—Fortune pai gow and three-card poker—and the Caribbean Stud or will soon be locally known as Saipan Stud, which is a type of poker game played against the house rather than against other players.
