The Kagman Community Health Center will feature many free health screenings during their Health Fair this Saturday to celebrate the clinic’s 4th anniversary.
The one-day fair would feature blood pressure screenings, blood sugar level testing, body mass index measurements, breast exams, family planning giveaways, hearing screening, HIV/STD screenings, immunization screenings, PAP smear, and vision screenings, to name a few. The fair starts from 9am to 12pm at the community health center grounds.
All the screenings are free of charge for the attendees. The staff of Kagman Community Health Center would be also available for free consultation pertaining to topics concerning the health screenings. According to business office manager Frances Santos, the Kagman Community Health Center would be closed on Saturday but would be open to the public for the health fair.
“We are inviting the community to attend this day to celebrate with us our fourth anniversary,” said Santos.
Along with the free screenings, attendees of the health fair would be able to get refreshments as well as prizes and giveaways. The first 100 participants of the health fair will be rewarded with a free T-shirt.
Kagman Community Health Center will be partnering with the Commonwealth Healthcare Corp., the birth defects surveillance intervention and referral to services program, the Hardt Eye Clinic, the Marianas Eye Institute, the Early Intervention Services, and the CHCC Division of Public Health to help make the fair possible.
