First ‘Mentor a MYPro’ event next week
The first “Mentor a MYPro” event of 2017 is scheduled for Wednesday, March 29, from 5:30pm to 9pm at the Joeten Kia showroom on Beach Road. This event is one of four throughout the year where professionals and young professionals can mix and mingle, get career advice as well as hear professional success stories to inspire motivation.
“We want to provide a…relaxed atmosphere where young professionals can meet and get career advice from the movers and shakers in our community. It’s important that young professionals are given the chance to discuss any hurdles they may have in their career and work on how to solve problems. Plus, it’s great chance to network!” Nola Hix, VP of MYPros said.
“Mentorship is a great way to get involved to help shape the future of Saipan. Giving back to our young people and passing along wisdom and sharing success stories is key to showing what hard work and dedication can do and how they too can be successful and grow in the CNMI,” said MYPros board president Matthew Deleon Guerrero.
Mentor a MYPro will have an assortment of healthy dishes from Everest Kitchen along with new brews and beverages provided by local Saipan Brewery and Joeten Supermarket. It is open and free for registered MYPros members/mentors, with an entry fee of $40 for new members/mentors. The entry fee will automatically pay your annual membership for the year and will go towards future MYPros event costs.
Alex Sablan of TanHoldings and Rep. Ivan Blanco attended the kick-off membership meet in January. (PR)
