TSL Foundation donates $2.5K to NMC Foundation

The Tan Siu Lin Foundation recently donated in-kind prizes valued at over $2,500 to the Northern Marianas College Foundation. The donation was made in support of the foundation’s 14th Annual Golf Tournament scheduled for Saturday, March 18, 2017, at the LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort.
“The success of the NMC Foundation’s golf tournaments is largely due to the generosity and involvement of organizations like Tan Siu Lin Foundation,” said NMC president Dr. Carmen Fernandez. “We are grateful for the company’s involvement again this year.”
“We are extremely thankful for Tan Siu Lin Foundation’s support in this year’s tournament,” said Mary Tenorio, NMC Foundation president.
The NMC Foundation is composed of individuals who are dedicated and committed to raising funds for the college’s programs and services. The golf tournament is the organization’s main fundraising event.
The tournament will take place at the Laolao Bay Golf & Resort’s east course. Show time is at 6am with a shotgun start at 7am.
The first place winner for each flight will receive $500, second place winner will receive $300, and the players placing third in each category will receive $200. There are six flight categories: Championship, A, B, C, Ladies, and Seniors.
In addition to the flight prizes, there will be hole-in-one prizes, which include a 2017 Toyota Tacoma from Atkins Kroll Saipan, a 2017 Mazda6i Sport from Triple J Motors, and $5,000 in cash each from Marianas Insurance Co., McDonald’s Saipan, and Pacifica Insurance Underwriters. The tournament will also feature many other items as raffle prizes like airline tickets sponsored by Delta Air Lines, smartphones, hotel stays, meal gift certificates, and much more.
Those interested in playing can download a registration form at www.marianas.edu or pick up a form at the Laolao Bay Golf & Resort or at the NMC Cashier’s Office where the $100 registration fee can also be paid.
The NMC Foundation is also asking companies or individuals who can contribute monetary or in-kind donations to sponsor the tournament.
