Pacifica Insurance donates $5K hole-in-one prize

Pacifica Insurance recently presented a $5,000 hole-in-one prize for the upcoming 14th Annual NMC Foundation Open golf tournament scheduled for Saturday, March 18, 2017. The first lucky golfer who makes a hole-in-one at the LaoLao Bay Golf and Resort’s hole No. 4 at the east course will win the $5,000 prize.
“We are proud of the longstanding partnership that our company has with the Northern Marianas College,” said Shirley Sablan, general manager of Pacifica Insurance. “We will continue to support the college and its efforts to advance higher education. I am highly encouraging others in the business community to follow suit.”
“Pacifica Insurance has been a longtime supporter of the Northern Marianas College and we are extremely thankful for their contribution,” said NMC president Dr. Carmen Fernandez.
The NMC Foundation, composed of volunteers, raises funds for the college’s programs and services. The golf tournament is the organization’s main fundraising event.
“Pacifica Insurance’s contribution and steadfast support throughout the years reflects the company’s commitment to providing educational opportunities for CNMI students,” said NMC Foundation president Mary Tenorio.
The 14th Annual NMC Foundation Open golf tournament will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at the Saipan Laolao Bay Golf & Resort (east course). Show time is at 6am and the shotgun start will be at 7am. The tournament will follow a medal play format.
First place winners in the men’s Championship, A, B, C, Senior, and Ladies Flights will each receive $500, while $300 and $200 will go to the second and third place finishers.
Hole-in-one prizes include a 2017 Toyota Tacoma from Atkins Kroll Saipan, a 2017 Mazda6i Sport from Triple J Motors, and $5,000 in cash each from Marianas Insurance Co., and McDonald’s Saipan. The tournament will also feature many other items as raffle prizes like smartphones, hotel stays, meal gift certificates, and much more.
