Despite cash reward, still no info on missing pickup

The owner of the stolen red 1989 Toyota Hilux with license plate ABK-269 appealed yesterday to authorities and the public to help him locate his pickup.

Despite a $300 cash reward June Alipio offered last Friday, he has not received tips or any information about his truck and who stole it.

“I could not sleep. Even my two children are affected,” said the Kensington Hotel employee.

Anyone who has information about the case may call Alipio or the Department of Public Safety.

Alipio parked the truck near Guangdong Hardware in As Lito last Feb. 19 at 1:30pm. The truck was already missing as he was about to go home at 6pm. He immediately called the police.

The truck has an Air Jordan sticker on the back window.

The NMI Crime Stoppers Program has yet to release information about the case.
