Power outage on Saturday

There will be a scheduled power interruption on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, from 6:30am to 11:30am.

The purpose of the power interruption is to de-energize the primary lines to allow Commonwealth Utilities Corp. line crew to safely continue change out of wooden power poles to concrete power poles along Dandan Rd. in Dandan. This is an on-going program to strengthen and harden the integrity of the distribution circuit.

Areas to be affected: Dandan Rd. (Atdao St., Ayuda St., Ayuda Ct., Tenda Av., Sailing Dr., Exchange Ln., Pution Ln., Pulan Ln., Mapagahes Ln., Trolling PI., Walking Pl., Fishing Pl., Adios P1., Kattan Hudda Dr., Kamma P1., Hook Ln., Parasail P1., Batu Pl., Gabbe P1., and Tokpong P1.)

Because of the scale of work that will be performed, travelers are being encouraged to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the affected areas.
