Scheduled power outage
There will be a scheduled power interruption on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, from 6am to 11am.

The purpose of the power interruption is to de-energize the primary lines to allow Commonwealth Utilities Corp. line crew to safely change out wooden power poles to concrete along Flame Tree Road in Dandan. This is an effort to strengthen and harden the integrity of the distribution circuit.

Because of the scale of work that will be performed, travelers are encouraged to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the affected areas.

Areas to be affected are Dandan Flame Tree Rd. (Gatbo Av., Tasi Ln., Tasi Dr., Fiesta St., Beach Av., and Sand St.), Hawaiian Rock Quarry, and Naftan Road (Obyan Beach Dr., Dela Concepcion Dr., and Santa Margarita P1.).

The Obyan water well will be affected. (CUC)

The purpose of the scheduled water service interruption is to repair a couple leaks on the water main line located on the Chalan Monsignor Martinez Road in As Lito near the Green Consume Market.

Currently, the northbound lane is closed for Commonwealth Utilities Corp. repair crews. Motorists are urged to be cautious in the area and advised to take an alternative route if possible. (PR)
