Members of the Corporate Social Responsibility team of Imperial Pacific International, Ltd. got together with some Kagman High School alumni last week to clean up and beautify the campus.
KHS vice principal Ben Jones noted IPI’s innovative School Pride Project, which sent its CSR team to one of the largest public high school campuses.
“Thank you very much Imperial Pacific for your generous support in the beautification project of Kagman High School. I see how Imperial Pacific International has established itself as a business [that] puts the community on top of its priority list,” Jones said.
IPI’s School Pride Project and other community work continue to demonstrate the company’s commitment to the community, according to Jones.
At KHS, IPI’s CSR initiated massive groundskeeping and aesthetic work.
“The work done by Imperial Pacific is always praised. [IPI-CSR] works diligently and swiftly, while demonstrating great customer service to your clients in the community. We hope to work in collaboration in future projects,” Jones noted.
“Once again, thank you Imperial Pacific for your time and support. We truly appreciate the assistance in beautifying Kagman High School,” he added.
CSR executive director Geralyn Dela Cruz said that schools and the community continue to need support. KHS, in particular, is special to her team. Several of Dela Cruz’ team members are alumni of KHS and loves to give back.
“Our partnership with our schools is one that we hold dearly. Whenever there is a need in our schools in which we can assist with, and have the resources to do so, we respond,” Dela Cruz said.
A conversation with Jones led to the partnership between IPI-CSR and KHS.
Dela Cruz said that IPI-CSR is always ready to assist. “As we have mentioned before during our previous School Pride Project, our CSR team members are homegrown—they are a product of our schools.”
The School Pride Project is one of Imperial Pacific’s signature initiatives. Launched last year, it is part of the much-larger beautification campaign that involved the preservation and maintenance of the island’s beauty with the goal of driving and sustaining tourism as well as to promote environmental awareness in the community.
