Golf media professionals visit Saipan

From Dec. 4 to 9, 2016, Golf Digest international media consortium composed of magazine editors, bloggers, magazine contributors and golf enthusiasts from China, Japan, Korea and Singapore, came to Saipan to experience and enjoy world-class golf courses.
Joined by three locally-based golf players—Yuko Togawa, Kang Seung Woo, and Feng Chun Jin—who provided some local knowledge and golf stories to the group, the guests played at LaoLao Bay east course, Kingfisher Golf Links, Coral Ocean Point Golf Resort, and did a site visit at Marianas Country Club. They enjoyed all the sites around the island, including Managaha Island and Let’s Go! Tours. They sampled local cuisine at Boku Boku, Surf Club, Best Sunshine Noodle Bar, Isla Teppanyaki at PIC, Aqua Resort lunch buffet, LaoLao Bay, Kingfisher, Amigo, Loria at Kensington, and Coral Ocean Point Sunday Buffet. The visiting golfers stayed at Kensington Hotel and LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort.
For Imperial Pacific International, this golf tour was organized by David Largent, Marketing and Public Affairs director of Imperial Pacific with the MVA, as part of a larger initiative to bring more quality golfers and customers to Saipan to enjoy our world-class golf courses designed by world-famous golf course designers and players Greg Norman (LaoLao Bay), Graham Marsh (Kingfisher), and Larry Miller (Coral Ocean Point).

The Japan-based media personalities included Yoshinubo Shirota, Golf Digest writer; Mayuko Sato, Regina writer (Regina is a Japanese female golf magazine; Shizuo Mori, JPGA; Takashi Ichikura, MVA Japan; Keita Aoki, Golf Digest cameraman; and Chiemi Shomizu, Regina camerawoman.
Media from Korea were composed of Minsun Chun, Golf Digest reporter; and bloggers Jung/ Yong Chul, Chang/Dong Houn, and Oh/Hyun Tack.
Representatives from China were Jianjie Ma, Golf Digest chief editor; Jing Chen, Golf Digest vice president; Meifang Hung, key opinion leader/blogger, and Wei Zhou, photographer.
