Coco Restaurant employees were shocked last Wednesday morning to find out that their establishment had been robbed.

Cameras within the building showed several unidentified men going about the restaurant and taking several items between the times of 1:30am and 2:30am.

One of the suspects, who was roughly about 6’3” tall, gained entry through a window and searched the premises with a flashlight.

The burglars stole 15 bottles of brand new whiskey, five or six cases of beer, five live lobsters, and a camera from the building worth about a $1,000.

The thieves walked away with about $2,000 worth of goods.

Cameras showed several men loitering in the restaurant’s premises helped themselves to some food and alcohol before departing through the back door in a white sedan.

The driver of the vehicle backed up to the doorway in order for the other two to load their stolen goods.

The license plate of the car is unrecognizable and several cameras around the property were covered with napkins.

About five or six years ago, a burglary also occurred in the same restaurant. Robbers broke through the cash register and stole a large amount of money, ultimately forcing owners of the restaurant to begin keeping their income in a safer location.

In the most recent incident, intruders broke into the register to steal about $20 in change.

Further investigation is underway.
