MHS reports success in release of progress reports

Marianas High School extends its gratitude to its Mighty Dolphin parents who came out in full force to support the school’s second quarter mid-progress report on Dec. 1, 2016. The school saw an outstanding turnout of nearly 1,000 parents.

The quarterly mid-progress report is a great opportunity for stakeholders to engage with teachers concerning the performance of their child. Parents and educators to work together celebrate success and provide support.

The event also featured the AP World History students, taught by Dr. Chas Algair, who showcased the Tang and Song Dynasties.

The home of the Mighty Dolphins looks forward to even greater parental engagement and highly encourages its parents to continue their outstanding participation.

In related news, Marianas High School released its students at 9:30am last Friday due to water system breakdown on campus. The Capitol Improvement Projects and the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. worked to resolve this issue.

All MHS campus activities, including after school classes and practices for Friday, were cancelled. Lunch service was also cancelled. Basketball games scheduled at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium were held as scheduled. Buses transported students at 9:30am. (PR)
