Hyatt Regency Saipan will celebrate the hotel’s 36th anniversary today, Dec. 1, 2016.

Throughout the years, the hotel has received awards and recognitions from the local community as well as international recognition. The hotel’s restaurants are among the island’s favorites, offering specialty dining experiences—fine dining Italian cuisine at Giovanni’s, traditional and contemporary Japanese cuisine at Miyako, and, a buffet style of international flavors at Kili Café & Terrace.

This year, Hyatt reflects on 36 years of operation as the sole international brand name hotel on Saipan and celebrates its relationship with employees and the community since its doors opened in 1981.

The hotel invites the public to the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony commemorating its lasting relationship of 36 years on Saipan. This year’s honored guests will be first grade students from Garapan Elementary School. The festive holiday caroling will commence at 5:30pm. After a brief message from general manager Nick Nishikawa, the hotel’s Christmas tree will be lit and a toast will be shared as the Hopwood Middle School choir fills the lobby with holiday spirit.
