Please allow me to take this opportunity to thank all who supported me as I prepared for and underwent a liver transplant here at St. Luke’s Medical Center, Global City.
First of all to all of my friends and family on Tinian and throughout the Commonwealth, thank you so much for your strong prayers. Your prayers made a difference.
I would also like to thank the Tinian and CNMI leaderships for your support.
To the CNMI Medical Referral Office, and Mr. Henry Cruz in Manila, thank you for your excellent service and for all your assistance in making my and my family’s stay in Manila a comfortable one.
To our prayer warriors on Facebook, thank you for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers. I read your messages and appreciate them so much.
To all my doctors and nurses here at St. Luke’s, including my surgical team: Dr. Allen Concejero, Dr. Wilfredo Polido, Dr. Eric Arcilla, Dr. Monette Jordan, and Dr. Glen Genuino, maraming salamat po.
I am lucky to have a son in John who graciously donated half of his liver to me. Please keep our hero, John, in your prayers. I love you, my son.
