Chamber to host career exploration day for high school juniors, seniors

The Saipan Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its “2016 Career Exploration Day” on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016. High school juniors and seniors have been invited to register for this event.
Registered students will choose a field of business they are interested in and will be paired with a participating chamber business. This is a unique opportunity that will give students a hands-on experience in the workplace with a chance to “shadow” private-sector business leader for a half day. The chamber hopes that this experience will help students decide what field of work or education they would like to pursue in the future. Students will be recognized at the Saipan World Resort’s Royal Taga Hall during the Saipan Chamber of Commerce general membership meeting on Dec. 7 at 12pm.
Interested students will need the following: student application, high school permission form, and student/parental consent form. Forms are due by Nov. 28, 2016, at 5pm. Hard copies can be picked up from the chamber office on the third floor of the Marianas Business Plaza, Suite No. 315.
