Golf tourney this Saturday to benefit JKPL
Friends of the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library will be holding its 2nd JKPL Fundraising Golf Tournament at the Laolao Bay Golf and Resort west course this Saturday, Nov. 12.
The tournament will be a Double Peoria tournament and entry fee is $100 per player. Show time is 6:30am, while tee time is at 7:30am. Cash prizes include $300 for first place, $250 for second, $200 for third, $150 for fourth, and $100 for fifth.
Side games, at the cost of $20, consists of $200 prizes for closest to the pin on holes No. 3, 7, 13, 17 and longest drive on hole No. 10. The hole-in-one prize will be a brand new car as well as a $5,000 cash prize.
All proceeds will benefit the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library’s Resource and Collection Development, Circulation Materials, and Library Programs.
Tickets may be purchased either at the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library or any member of the Friends of the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library. Cash or check is accepted by to Friends of the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library, while credit card payments are accepted at Laolao Bay Golf and Resort. (Michael T. Santos)
