Chamber’s November meeting on Thursday
The Saipan Chamber of Commerce’s monthly meeting for November will be held on Thursday instead of the usual first Wednesday of the month to accommodate the observance of All Souls Day. The Nov. 3 venue is Hyatt Sandcastle.
The main guest speaker will be Commissioner Robert Guerrero of the Department of Public Safety. There will also be a presentation from Anthony Quenga from Bank of Guam (Guam) regarding the Google Start Up Weekend coming to Saipan this weekend.
Also, the Saipan Chamber of Commerce is holding the elections for its board of directors. There are nine members on the Chamber board. Velma Palacios, Alex Sablan, Mike Johnson, and Perry Inos Jr. have one more year to serve of their current terms. The following individuals (in alphabetical order) will be on the ballot for 2017/2018:

-Tyrell Pauling (Hyatt)
-Ron Smith (Angil Design)
-Beau Tomokane (Delta Air Lines)

Membership category will determine the amount of votes allotted to one’s company. Those unable to attend Thursday’s meeting and wish to place their vote may e-mail their selection by Wednesday at 5pm. (SCC)
