Part I: To an Old *Ass, His Party Being Tethered to Him
 
hey rich old ass stumbling in a deplorable race
I loathe the insults that come out of your face
and often peck out and post a silly sonnet
about your demagoguery and something on it
for now your partisans are all quite dismayed
retreating from egregious gaffes you have made
and just like the natural world as it unfolds
sound bytes and videos have your story told
under that golden hair do you anticipate
despite silver spoon birth your future fate
refusing still to divulge your federal taxes
so voters will never know what the fact is
does your ‘bigly’ ego feel some political pain
as Pence is forced to cover for you and explain
 
Part II: To an Old *Ass, With No Class
 
foolish ass, wouldn’t it be better to show
there is one thing about diplomacy you know?
for voters fear what they hear and see
your praise of Putin and blatant bigotry
when asked a question its curve balls you send
quoting, “people I know” and “I heard from a friend”
you can’t take criticism and wind up complaining
pressed on an issue you have a hard time explaining
discrimination against Mexicans and Muslims you choose
to say to African Americans “what the hell have you got to lose”
when exposed as a groper in front of your bride
its denial and more denial but there’s too much to hide
your demagogic campaign will soon come to rest
as voters go to polls and Hillary Clinton is blessed
 
Inspiration from Samuel Taylor Coleridge (1772-1834) poem: ‘To A Young Ass, Its mother being tethered near it’. *“ass” is being used here to mean a stupid, obstinate, or perverse person.

it was a time of ‘bigly’ decisions
Trump’s insults became incisions
in a deluded dark American vision
from his mouth frequent foul emissions
stump talks filled with lies and suspicions
for which he showed little contrition
at least Hillary used some erudition
many of his ideas wouldn’t reach fruition
like the US border Mexican Wall fission
his denial of misogynist sexual collisions
in debate he refused to state his position
on accepting a post election results tradition
so by the time of the 2016 POTUS election
many moved away from Trump’s direction

Trumpty’s Capitol Hill Crying Complaint
 
half my money gone and I’m in debt
my IRS tax returns pile up unfilled
still Trump Empire aspirations to build
more towers. I need loans you bet
“Not indolence, nor pleasure, nor the fret
of restless passions, that would not be stilled.”
but the media, and Hillary, the strong willed
“kept me from what I may accomplish yet”.
Though not on Capitol Hill, I see the past
my lying about video clips and sound bytes
in a Capitol city where I would never last
Senate investigation committees from left and right
and be subjected to the ‘rigged media’ blast
keeps me up crying and tweeting these nights

is  Donald Trump in bed with rich Russian commies
reports say he took billions from Russian oligarchs
he continues praising Putin and ruble rich patriarchs
still plans to deport Mexican children and mommies
why is Trump stalling on release of his tax returns
most recent POTUS candidates have all done this
what exactly does Mr. Trump want voters to miss
he’s petrified what the nation’s voters will learn
pollsters who take small samples put both themselves
and readers who follow at the mercy of sampling luck
voters who follow and believe all the bigoted racist and
Islamaphobic theories will go for Donald J. *Upchuck
meanwhile as interested citizens are unable to learn
Russian rubles collect interest in Trump’s tax return
