The first Junior International Thespian Society competition was held this October and Dandan Middle School wishes to congratulate its students—Jonathan Wolf and Juliet Inocencio, who won first place in duet acting, Donato Santiago, who won first place for solo musical, and Juliet Inocencio, who won second place in solo musical—for their job well done!

Both Wolf and Inocencio shared their encounter: “This was the first time for me to be slapped, ever!” exclaimed Wolf, when asked about his experience on this first meet, “but I felt it wasn’t hard enough, though.” (laughs) Inocencio said: “It was part of our piece…. I was nervous as well, but definitely in the next competition, we both will go over the top!”

Donato Santiago looks forward to singing his heart out once again come November’s Thespian competition.
