Catholic faithful invited to grace Marian Exhibit

The first of hopefully many “hospitality Sundays” of the Legion of Mary was held on Oct. 9 at Tanapag Church. That day, they had the Marian Exhibit, which showcased the best of the Virgin Mary and offered refreshments for their participants soon after.

Legion of Mary president Julie Cunanan, with the help of the coordinator of mission operations Ernie Molina and Fr. Philippe Rolleon Jr., created the program that not only honors Mary but also allows aide for the people attending.

Last Sunday’s mission offered free breakfast and religious items such as rosaries to its fellow parishioners.

When asked what would be the difference between this Sunday’s event and the last, Cunanan replied, “This time we will offer the parishioners something we call Sunday mission, or medical mission, where there will be less than 10 nurses available to give the attendees flu shots, checkups for diabetes, high blood, and other medical conditions this Sunday. All of these procedures will be free along with free hair grooming from hairdressers coming on site.”

Free religious items and breakfast will also be offered just like the last Sunday event. The program will be held this coming Sunday, Oct. 16, following the 8am mass and end at 12pm.

For more information about the mission, call Cunanan at 234-9226.
