Man posts bail on domestic violence complaint
Richard S. Reyes, 40, posted a $3,000 bail in Superior Court for a probable cause in a domestic violence dispute complaint last Aug. 8.
On Aug. 5, 2016, police officers Joseph Magofna and Daniel Kintol were conducting a routine patrol when they were called to respond to a domestic violence dispute.
Magofna and Kintol arrived at the Commonwealth Health Center ER and met with attending physician attendant Kate Feeman. She told Kintol that a woman told the ER that one of her children was not feeling well.
In addition, prior to checking in one of woman’s children, Freeman learned that the family had been through a domestic disturbance at home.
Reyes was drinking beer and causing a ruckus. He shouted profanities and was volatile toward one of his children. As a result, Reyes was arrested for domestic violence, disturbing the peace, and assault and battery and he was detained at the Department of Corrections.
Three days later, Reyes posted the $3,000 bail amount originally set by Judge Teresa Kim-Tenorio, with the following conditions: appear in court when he needs to; must obey all Commonwealth laws; surrender travel documents; and shall have no direct or indirect contact with the complainant.
