Marianas Pacific Distributors, Inc. will celebrate the end of summer by holding the Budweiser “End of Summer Music Fest” on Aug. 27, 2016 at Hard Rock Café.

MARPAC Sales manager James Lee said his company started organizing the event in 2014 but its second staging in 2015 was cancelled due to Typhoon Soudelor.

“When MARPAC held the ‘Marianas Music Fest’ in 2014, we were thinking of making it an annual music event. However, since Typhoon Soudelor happened, MARPAC felt it was not appropriate to hold such event.”

This year, since recovery efforts have been successful, MARPAC decided to hold anew the “End of Summer Music Fest” featuring the music of three popular bands from Guam—The John Dank Show, The Dolls, and Chris Boomer & Joe Hernandez. The event will also showcase two local bands Marvin Guerrero & Jay Babauta and Tom Basa Jr. & The Marianas Project featuring Vina Duenas.

Lee said, “Budweiser, the major sponsor of the event, is currently having the ‘Made in America-Win Big with Budweiser’ promotion that runs from now until Oct. 7, 2016. We will be having a major raffle with these prizes: a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle worth $25,000; full-expense paid trip for two to the Made in Guam Music Festival; Bud Light chiller; ultimate BBQ package, and many more. First drawing will be held on Aug. 13, 2016 at Jonny’s bar.”

Ticket purchased in advance is $25 and $30 if purchased at the door. Tickets are being sold at IT&E, Tribe Marianas, and MARPAC, Inc. Tickets are limited to the maximum capacity of 400 people.

Each purchased ticket serves as an entrance to the concert; one raffle ticket to win a Bud Light Chill Chamber plus five cases of beer; one raffle ticket entry to “Made in America-Win Big with Budweiser” promotion; $50 off on the next VIP promo package at Best Sunshine Live, and a one-time $10 match play. The raffle for this event will be held at Safehouse and Jonny’s Bar at 11:30pm.

The Budweiser “End of Summer Music Fest” is brought to you by the following sponsors: MARPAC, IT&E, Best Sunshine Live, Hertz, Sorensen Media Group/Power 99, Marianas Variety News & Views, Tribe Marianas, and Hafaloha Clothing.
