Organizers of the 21st Annual Governor’s Tournament of Champions have announced that Joeten Motors is offering a brand new 2016 Ford F150 as a hole-in-one prize for this weekend’s tournament.

“Joeten Motors’ Ford F150 hole-in-one prize raises the anticipation and excitement for this year’s Tournament of Champions,” said Ben Babauta, tournament director. “We are extremely thankful for the company’s donation and for its longstanding commitment to the Tournament.”

“Joeten Motors has always been an enthusiastic supporter of community projects, especially those that promote the CNMI as prime tourist destination,” Joeten Motors general manager Matt Deets said. “We wish all the players luck at this year’s tournament.”

This year’s TOC will be played at the Laolao Bay Golf and Resort’s east and west courses with the two-day event offering bigger and better than ever hole-in-one prizes and cash and raffle prizes for a tournament fee of only $200.

First place winners in the men’s Championship, A, B, C, Senior and Super Senior Flights will each receive $500 cash, while $400, $300, a GoPro Hero Camera, and $100 DFS gift certificate will go to the second to fifth finishers. The Ladies Low Gross champion will receive $500, $400 will go to the second placer, and $300 to the third. The Top 3 winners in the Ladies Low Net will receive trophies.

TOC, since its inception, has given over $700,000 to the Saipan Beautification Fund which has gone directly to the improvements of the tree-lined traffic medians that stretch from Garapan to the former Palms Resort Saipan, as well as the revitalization of the Garapan special district. In addition, TOC also contributed funds for the Paseo de Marianas, the lighting of the Saipan Beach Pathway, and most recently the beautification of the Port to Park pathway.
