Drug Enforcement Task Force re-arrested a suspected dealer of crystal methamphetamine or “ice” and a man for possession of “ice” along a narrow road leading to the Commonwealth Utilities Corp.’s Water Treatment and Laboratory Office in Puerto Rico on Friday morning.

Jameson Palacios Hemley, 43, was arrested after the Office of the Attorney General moved to revoke stipulation for release from custody.

Yiwu Li, 43, was arrested for illegal possession of controlled substance after he allegedly threw out from his car a tissue paper containing a baggie of 1.3 gross grams of “ice.”

At a hearing yesterday, Superior Court Associate Judge Joseph N. Camacho imposed a $30,000 cash bail on Hemley.

A $20,000 cash bail was initially imposed on Li.

According to court records, Drug Enforcement Task Force arrested Hemley last April 28 for illegal possession and trafficking of “ice.”

Hemley was subsequently released after he signed an agreement with DETF to cooperate with their investigation against illegal drugs.

DETF then moved to revoke Hemley’s release after he allegedly has not cooperated with the ongoing investigations.

DETF agent Roque K. Camacho said they spotted Hemley on Friday morning in Puerto Rico.

Camacho said while they served the arrest warrant to Hemley, they also noticed Li, who was in a separate tinted car, threw a tissue containing “ice.”
