NMC to host college info session this Thursday

Northern Marianas College will be hosting an info session for the upcoming Fall 2016 semester this Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the NMC As Terlaje Campus, Building D1 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm for community members who are interested in furthering their education and advancing their professional careers.
The information session, which is open to all prospective students and community members, will provide information about NMC’s admissions process, finding money for college, and NMC’s degree programs. There will also be a discussion about NMC’s Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) program, which awards college credit based on an evaluation of college-level knowledge and skill individuals have gained outside the classroom.
Those who attend will also qualify to receive a waiver of NMC’s admission application fee and placement test fees. The waiver represents a savings of up to $75.
College faculty, staff, and students from the different degree and certificate programs at NMC, as well as Student Services representatives from counseling, financial aid, and admissions, will also be on hand to provide helpful information and answer questions.
