CUC schedules power interruption this Saturday

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. would like to inform the general public that there is a scheduled emergency power interruption on Saturday, July 23,2016, from 7:30am to 1:30pm.

The purpose of the power interruption is to de-energize the primary lines to allow the CUC line crew to safely replace two rotted three phase primary power poles and deteriorated power pole hardware on Koblerville Rd and As Gunno Road. The pole is severely rotted and must be replaced immediately to ensure safety the ongoing vehicular and traffic in the area. CUC greatly appreciates the understanding of the community during this period.

Water services may be affected in the area during the power interruption; however, all service should be restored after the power is re-energized.

Areas to be affected: Kiya 2 (2”d Partial):
Koblerville Rd (Ice Keki St, Binka Ave Tinakttak Dr, Puto Ct, Estufao Ct, Essok Ave, Tinala Ave, Katdo Ct, Kelaguen St, Tamles Ct, llotes Way, Fritada Ct, Sentada Ct. A nentukon St, Ahu Dr, Paksu Ct, Atmayas St., Charakiles Ct, Paksu cr, Alaguan St, Potu Ct, Eskabeche Ave, Gollai Ct) and As Gunno Road (Katmelo, Magisa Dr, Broas Ave, Empanada Ln, Roskette Ave, Tengguang Ln, Bonelos Ave, Rosko Ave, Buchibuchi Dr).

Water Wells affected: KB 20, KB 21, KB 22, KB23, KB24, KB25. The upper Koblerville, As Gunno, and

Afetnas water services will be affected as well.

Sewer Lift Station affected: None

Traffic Light affected: None

Because of the scale of work that will be performed, we ask travelers to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the affected areas. (PR)
