The administrator of the Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality has appointed a new director to helm its Division of Environmental Quality.

BECQ administrator Frank M. Rabauliman last July 5 appointed Ray S. Masga to the director position.

The July 5 memorandum to bureau staff notes that Masga has been serving as acting director for DEQ for the past several months.

Masga has also been site assessment and remediation branch manager for several years, BECQ said.
