Chamber opens afternoon session for ‘Supervisor Boot Camp’

With the recent and sudden changes in our community, business owners are left short-handed, understaffed, and panicked with the lack of manpower. The Saipan Chamber of Commerce and Island Training Solutions proudly present “Supervisor Bootcamp,” a two-part training seminar that teaches supervisors and team leaders the essential skills to lead others in the workplace. Effective supervisors can make a difference between success and failure of a company. Training your supervisors allows you to instill your company mission and values in your leaders, who pass them on to the frontline workers. Take advantage of this opportunity to train your new supervisors and sharpen the skills of your experienced ones!

In Part 1 of this course, participants will learn how to embrace their new role and assert leadership, how to communicate effectively, and how to identify and manage problems by using a step-by-step process. In part two, participants will learn how to amplify strengths in each team member to maximize overall success, how to empower and motivate others, and how to manage diversity in the workplace.

The morning sessions for the “Supervisor Boot Camp” has been filled. Due to overwhelming interest in this training, Saipan Chamber of Commerce has decided to open registration for afternoon sessions. Part 1 is set for Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 1:30pm to 4:30pm, and Part 2 is set for Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016 from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. Each course is $45 per person for members and $50 per person for non-members. Sign up for both courses and get the special price of $80 (member fee) or $90 (non-member fee). The “Supervisor Boot Camp” will take place at the Saipan Chamber of Commerce Conference Room on the 3rd Floor of Marianas Business Plaza, Suite #315.
