Regulators grant TEC conditional casino license

The Tinian Casino Faming Control Commission granted a conditional casino license to Tinian Entertainment Company, Ltd., a subsidiary of CNMI Resorts Development (CRD), during a public hearing held at the Tinian Courthouse June 24, 2016.

Tinian Entertainment Company, Limited, along with the principal owner, Chen Chien-Yeh, also known as Mr. Tim Chen, plans to acquire, renovate, rehabilitate, and rebrand the Tinian Dynasty Hotel and Casino, which is owned and operated by Hong Kong Entertainment (Overseas) Investment, Limited (HKE).

The casino license previously issued to Hong Kong Entertainment (overseas) Investment, Limited (HKE) was not transferred to Tinian Entertainment Company, Limited (TEC) as previously reported by Marianas Variety on June 27, 2016. The casino license was issued to HKE was revoked by TCGCC during its special meeting on may 5, 2016.

Therefore, the conditional casino license of Tinian Entertainment Company, Limited, (TEC has a new license issued by the Tinian Casino Gaming Control Commission).
